Pet Emu Playing Fetch With Little Girl

newtboysays...

"Fetch" implies that the Emu brings it back. It really just does a little "I found it, right here" dance and waits for it's human to pick it up and throw it again. More 'Emu chases ball with it's little girl'.
Cute, but not exactly 'fetch'. ;-)

Gratefulmomsays...

I used "it's" because I didn't want to use his or her because I didn't know if it was a boy emu or a girl emu....but now that I look at it, it does seem not quite right. hmmm

Paybacksays...

Like bareboards2 said, they and ant weren't complaining about calling it an it, they were complaining you were using improper grammar.

its = belongs to it
it's = it is
