This video shows an operational cutaway of a BMW S1000RR — a 193HP superbike — bumping against its 14,200RPM redline. A cam and valvetrain at 118 cycles per second is an amazing sight

I think I could smell it.

Those springs must be hard as rocks to be able to rebound at that speed.
This really could use a few seconds of super slow motion close up. I want to see the oil vaporize.
