New Rules: Internet Cute, 9/11 , iPhone, and Breast Feeding

Bill Maher rips into Vanessa Hudgens, internet companies with cute names, 9/11 memorial construction, 9/11 conspiracy theorists, iPhone early adopters, public breast feeders and today's activists.

I usually like Bill Maher, but he's a total tool with the 9/11 bullshit.

He also sided with Israel in the July war of 2006, which shows his true stripes.

He's not to be trusted. He's kind of like Dennis Miller: opportunistic and inconsistent.

"I usually like Bill Maher, but he's a total tool with the 9/11 bullshit."?

Can you explain your point of view to me on my page(I think it annoys people if you have long conversations on the post)

DotDude: I totally tried to post this like minutes after you! Nice post.

I'll have what he's having- made me laugh so hard!

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)

Totally disagree on his breastfeeding stance. Only in America, land of Hooters and silicone valley are breasts so sexualized.

We've all got breasts (right Karaidl?) and feeding a baby is not an "intimate act" unless you've got a repressed puritan breast fetish. Boo on Maher!

MINKsays...

he's a sneaky one.
this is a retarded little skit, i suspect he's intelligent enough to know that, but it's easier to just spout shit.

comparing women to dogs is not cool.

about the conspiracy theory stuff.., the demolition thing is just a distraction. it doesn't even really matter how the towers were brought down, you have to look at the bigger picture. all the holograms and thermite stuff is just so you don't notice the insurance fraud, privatisation of the military, oil theft, genocide, etc.

goofs like maher get to go on TV and kinda suggest ALL questioners of official reports are "loony".

literally "go back to sleep, america"

MINK: "all the holograms and thermite stuff is just so you don't notice the..."

I want to hear the theory about the connection between the fall of the towers and holograms! Wow. I think I'm just going to start my own 911 conspiracies invovling hovercrafts and pixie sticks. I don't think anyone would take me seriously. I'm a fan of Bill Maher, and I think he's turned off by the theories about 911 because some of them are so over the top it starts to sound like dellusions. I don't think the planes were drones that hit those buildings. I don't think all of the shots of the angular cut beams were thermate blasts - I think some of those were taken after demo crews came in cutting the larger beams into smaller beams.

Still, there's some compelling evidence out there, and to ignore it outright is a mistake

cobaltsays...

It is the responsibility of the proposer to provide positive proof for a theory. So the real question what reason do you have to believe the planes *were* being remotely controlled. In this case I think Occam's razor applies nicely.

blankfistsays...

That curiostiy was crazy. No, I see compelling evidence that suggests the buildings being pulled down by controlled demolition. I have my own theories on all of this that follows largely the facts (or what appears to be facts) I find on the "word wide internets". I think it's enough to do an investigation, to be honest. But, I haven't seen any evidence to suggest those planes weren't hijacked. I also don't see any evidence that refutes the claim of drone airplanes. But, try as I may, I can't find evidence to dirprove the Flying Spaghetti Monster, either, but I can safely gamble with the notion he doesn't exist.

moodoniasays...

I've seldom been bothered by breastfeeding in public because most women are discreet and don't strip to the waist in a restaurant and make sure EVERYONE sees what they are doing. Some do however, and just because they think its beautiful and wonderful doesnt mean everyone wants to see it. I have had a very obese woman drop her top opposite me and my lunch in a crowded resturant. It was far from beautiful.

Deanosays...

Most of that segment was alright but nothing special. However he did hit the nail on the head about narcissism. People want to have their way and if you kick up a stink about it you might get what you want, no matter how trivial it is.

I don't see many women breastfeeding in London but for me the issue is one of nudity. You want to breastfeed your kid - fine - but use the facilities. It's not an "issue" over here so I guess most mothers are managing just fine.

Ryjkyjsays...

Wow, that's a really good point cobalt. So I guess by blankfist making a proposal, i.e.: "I don't think the planes were drones that hit those buildings." And me asking why he might feel that way, i.e.: "What evidence do you have that the planes weren't being remotely controlled?", goes right along with your little comment.

Thanks for pointing out how logical I am. Douchebag.
