Michael Jackson beats your beatboxing anytime!

Beatboxing is nothing new, and Michael Jackson shows how it's done on Oprah Winfrey's 1993 interview.
ajkidosays...

Everytime I see a video or a photo of him I have two thoughts: what the hell is that thing and how does it always look a bit different than last time? It can't possibly be a human being...

But like ziggy said, that dude is damn talented.

rottenseedsays...

So what...

I beat Michael Jackson at spending less money on plastic surgery
I beat Michael Jackson at having a normal face
I beat Michael Jackson at not touching little boys' booty holes

I even beat Michael Jackson at not naming my kid blanket and that's an easy stat to maintain.

He was, and probably still is, a damn talented individual, who I loved around the Black or White album era... so sad that he fell so hard, so sad he hasn't found some sort of happiness. It would be wonderful to see him do a really, really truthful interview, somehow explain what has happened in a way that doesn't make us all throw up a little bit in our mouths, and make a wonderful musical comeback...

Will he?

Nope.

But it would be nice to believe it could happen.

I'm still fascinated wth happened to his face.
I'd love to see a documentary or an investigative report or even pay for a movie ticket explaining wth is going on with him.
but i think something like this won't happen while he's alive.

^exactly.

fucking retarded description.

about 5,000,000 kids can beatbox better than that anyway. heck, i can beatbox better than that myself.

and michael jackson is about 5% as talented as Bobby McFerrin.

and michael stole his shit from the street without giving credit for it.

but yes he has my sympathy because of the child abuse.

but... part of the child abuse was forcing him to practice being a performer 28 hours a day, and beating him if he fucked up, so it's not so surprising that he is "talented". You could use the word "trained" instead.

Sagemindsays...

I saw an interview a while back where Michael took the interviewer (can't remember who it was) into his studio and did a beatbox breakdown using a sequencer and sound equip. - man he was pumping out some incredabley imaginative, original, unbelievable stuff.

I don't care what his public image is, As an artist observing another artist..., he has my respect.

As for the rest of him..., well..., he needs to take more direction from his publicist - or get a new one...

MINK:

My description does explicitly not say that there was no beatboxing before '93 either. And yes, there are a lot of talented people out there, and there is also better beatboxing out there than this. But regardless of how he came by it, be it talent or child abuse, and despite all the other talents, among them McFerrin, this video is about Michael Jackson, and he was pretty damn good in his time. This video is a witness to that, and that's why I posted it. Not to claim Michael Jackson as the godfather of all beatboxing.
