Max Skate bikers pwn skateboard police with Michael Jackson

I wonder why this didn't take off.
Paybacksays...

Wow, all of the problems of unicycles, bikes, and skateboards, with none of the benefits.

In case anybody cared, the song was The Race from Yello. Oh yeah was more in tune with the political malaise of the day though.

Dooooom, baw-baw, chicka chickaHH!

This is one of those products created entirely by the marketing department. What the fuck was that stupid little walk Jackson did at the start?

What was up with the cops radar gun being a remote control.. and the the cop having blackface. And then the blackface being gone as the entire station decides to get on a skateboard and chase after them.. and then the next shot they appear to be to be skating away from a hangar, and then
one of them decides instead of doing an ollie, or stepping off the skateboard, he flies through a pane of glass... and then his face is covered in garbage.

And then Michael Jackson appears out of nowhere.

and then they break through a brick wall on a little bike thing.

Hell, they don't even stay on the bike, the first guy through fell off right away, and the second guy is flipping over.

..and not to mention the group of kids being led around by a NUN at the beginning.

The little walk by Michael Jackson is definitely not the biggest issue this commercial has IMO

ravermansays...

Skate bike changed the world as we know it. It killed off skate boards and bicycles almost over night!

Without Skate bike, the Segway may not have been able to entirely replace cars and walking as it did.
