Lesbians: they're out to rape you!

The "Bull Dyke" and her congress of dykettes decide to "initiate" a poor girl into the terrible "disease of lesbianism" in this extract of a propaganda film supposedly written by Alfred Hitchcock and directed by Cecil B. DeMille.

Edit: insightful comments and some interwebs research suggest that this is not a real propaganda film (although it definitely echoes real ones such as this one: http://gay.videosift.com/video/1950s-Anti-Gay-Propaganda-Film-Boys-Beware). Until more information surfaces I am taking it out of the history and vintage channels and adding it to the parody one (as suggested by @ant and @RFlagg).

shamelessly self *promote the delicious dangers of "lesbianism"!

For another example, see the trailer below. The only head she'll give a man is that of his decapitated colleague :

So, sorry to be a downer on this almost hysterically funny vid...

I watched this with great amusement until the "gang rape" part started. It took a turn to the dark for me, but I thought maybe I was being all uber-sensitive. So I sent the link to my Resident Expert Lesbian and asked her what she thought. She said this:

"I mean, I GET the melodramatic aspect, which is sort of amusing, but because this is how we've been portrayed as fact in recent HIStory, it's so creepy AND damaging and you know it must have been believed. So it's painful for me to watch as well, you know?

Women just don't rape, and especially don't gang rape. Grossest male behavior. I'm so glad I know so many gentle lovable men! Anyway, thanks for sharing-I never knew this was produced!"

Personally, I did not find this video very funny - well, other than in the "better-to-laugh-than-to-cry" way - thus the fear, history and controversy channels (and no comedy channel). The parody channel was added by @ant, and I interpret that as synonymous to "a travesty" (no offense to transvestites), especially vis-à-vis what you point out, i.e. that gang-rape is a very male (and almost always heterosexual) vice. What is really alarming is that there are still hateful bigots out there depicting the lesbian "agenda" in this way today (see for example Pat Robertson on "lesbian babykilling"). It seemed to me that the * lies contained in this propaganda film were so obvious that adding that channel would be redundant, but perhaps I should just in case?

One caveat though: women can and do commit sexual abuse, albeit to a far, far lesser extent than men.

Copyright MCLXV... 1165? Even if they meant MCMXLV that would put it in 1965 and DeMille died in 1959, so he directed it beyond the grave, or in the case of 1165 an ancient ancestor's thought)? Also the CDC wasn't called the Centers for Disease Control until 1970... in 1965 it would have been the Communicable Disease Center. So bad fake is bad...

EDIT: I think perhaps it should be removed from the History and Vintage channels and put back in Parody, though it does lack the humor one would expect with parody so perhaps not that one...

(Nitpicking: I think MCMXLV would be 1945, whereas 1965 would be MCMLXV). That being said, you have a point about the video's questionable historicity (the only results Google-god gave me link back to this video). I will change the video information accordingly.

Fakey McFake to the extreme. This looks like it was shot on video/digitally and made to look like film. Plus, Alfred Hitchcock was pretty much never a credited writer on anything and certainly wouldn't put his name on something this terrible. Seriously, of all the people they could have picked to have supposedly written this, they pick Hitchcock? That gives it away as a fake pretty much immediately.

It's a vaguely credible forgery (whoever they got to do the narration goes a long way towards selling it), but it's definitely a forgery.

This can't be real. I highly doubt Alfred Hitchcock and Cecil B DeMille had anything to do with this.

In fact, that footage looks too clean and sharp to be from the 50s. I say this has been recently made by someone and engineered (with filters, etc) to make it look old. It's well done, but definitely not real.

And Bob Dylan is so over the top (even for the 50s) it's laughable.
