Decades of poor management. They deserve to die.

I think their biggest problem is that they didn't move with the times. They let themselves become such a niche provider that their prices simply aren't competitive.

Funny how last year, they tried to go match the (19)80s like in its Super Bowl TV ad.

Radio Shack was a thieving steaming shit pile of a corporation that had their buyers work around US companies in order to rip off products in order to save a few cents. They were unethical. There is a reason that only a few toy companies would actually sell to them.

But where will I buy my odd occasional resistor or capacitor now. Oh right. I'm in Canada, Radioshack died here a long time ago and all the locations became "The Source". Which of course is just Radioshack under a different name, but not bankrupt ... yet.
