Kirk Cameron & Ray Comfort on 'Nothing Created Everything'

They got us on this one folks. We'd better concede... </sarcasm>

One defining attribute: atheists, even when purposefully hand-picked to not be the most eloquent/intelligent among the bunch, have the stones and the common decency to smile and politely answer "I DON'T KNOW", when facing a metaphysical dilemma (never mind that it's framed in a logically absurd and incoherent manner). I wish folks on the "other side" would do away with their arrogance in ignorance and openly admit to knowing squat, and did not dodge the questions with centuries-old fairy tales.

its like he tried to find the worst speaking atheists who fall back on throwing out random terms (big bang, ice age, etc) and they still managed to sound smarter than him.

yes i can make a cow. just give me some male and female cows and a few years.

Of course, they don't state what their position is. They happily posit that the universe can't always have exited when they claim that god has always existed. The only reason they "know" that god has to always exist is because the minute you need something to "create" your god he is then either not as powerful as the creator or had to somehow evolve to get that way. I somehow don't see them arguing for the second option anytime soon.

To me there is nothing more inspiring than thinking about the fact that we are bits of the universe that are smart enough to go around pondering the universe itself.

As far as the universal "law creator" that created the rules of the universe argument? Well, the universe seems doomed to an eventual death. I would like to think that an all powerful and supposedly perfect being could have designed something a little bit better.

Ask any scientist or atheist is they think / believe/ would argue that humans know for certain how the universe was created.

Then ask any of these religious nutjobs.

Only religious nutjobs believe God magically created everything out of nothing.

No atheist believes the worlds or life came from nothing.

I bet he did find someone who was able to answer the questions, course they just deleted that footage. You just cant go out in public and ask these kinds of quetions and get a perfect response! >.< Heck Leno already proved how dumb alot of peopel are with the Jay walking segment.
Just because were atheist doesnt already mean we belive something came from nothin. There is always a something in the beginning, we just dont have the way to test the absolute beginning. Though i belive in oscillating universe myself.

Ray comfort just proves hes a douche bag by just trying to find people who have no knowledge in this stuff.

Where do they get this idea that nothing came from something? Time is infinite, there always was something, there always will be something. It's a difficult idea to wrap your head around, these guys are talking about making honey and trying to compare that to making the universe though.

Hah you have to admire how beutifully random the world really is to make morons like this.
