It's worth mentioning this is likely scripted, and not real. A real defendant would be insane to volunteer that race was such a factor, or that he attacked a kid with a weapon from behind.
Googling their names, or neighborhood watch attack with shovel turns up nothing. Seems like this would have been big news if it happened.
Color me suspicious.

C-note I was giving you the benefit of the doubt that maybe you did not know this was fake, but now have to assume you knew and are trying to pass it off as being real. As an aside, I've found it pretty interesting that apparently ALL movies and shows seem to *always* include the "all characters are fictional" disclaimer even when the content is a biographical work of non-fiction!
