I'd also be more excited about Eddie Vedder.

I always hated this version of Jon Stewart. Always felt he was just trying way too hard- came off as smarmy and superficial. I like the new one better.

If Scott Bakula could drop the constant John Wayne impression I woulda warmed up to his captaincy more.

Voyager sucked hard. Seven of Nine ruined it - it became all about her all the time, and she wasn't even an interesting or unique character. YAWN-o-rama.

Seven of Nine is the model of a perfect human being.

For the record, the Star Trek captains from best to worst are Picard, Janeway, Kirk, Black Guy, Quantum Leap.

What do you mean? I had always wanted to see an over-the-hill kindergarten teacher captain a starship. Biggest fantasy ever.

Voyager was a great concept, executed well. It is my favorite Star Trek series. The latter episodes did focus too much on 7of9, but most of those stories were done well.

Needless to say, I loved Mulgrew as Janeway.
