SevenFingersFinally, this is the kind of stuff I've been wanting to know about!
NaMeCaFsays...I love this. Stop the government from "spying on its own citizens". Ok fine, but next time there's a domestic terrorist incident or shooting, dont blame the government for failing to protect its citizens and arresting those involved before they could carry out their attack.

yellowcsays...Giving up all privacy in the off chance that you'll catch a ridiculously stupid terrorist is a very bad reason to do so.
Besides, it isn't that cut and dry. The problem is the government wants the right to invade my privacy any time they want and without asking or me even knowing about. That's the key issue.
Innocent UNTIL proven guilty, it is a very basic concept and is what people are trying to protect.

coolhundsays...Or just, dont mess around in other countries affairs or support countries that do, in the first place...

messengerAgreed. I never gave them the responsibility to stop all bad things ever. Did you?
