I just downloaded the game out of curiosity. Man. It is way harder than this video makes it look. I couldn't even pass the second screen, though I didn't really try for very long before I gave up in frustration.

I thought it was only really really hard until the end of the vid - then I realized it's effectively impossible.

the end bit is from the original metroid, which was hard enough as it was!

Not just the end part, but the Green Zangief was making fun of Kraid... the fight with him is the exact same.. (give or take a detail)

If I even attempted this game, i'd likely lose 5 years off my life due to the stress.

It's mostly double jumps and wall jumps that you're seeing, although yes there is a brief segment with invisible blocks.

OMFG. My jaw dropped while watching this. Insane.

It doesn't look hard. It just looks like you need to remember some scripted stuff.

Interestingly, it's Mega-Man that heavily influenced the basic mechanics of this game.

I don't really respect it though because it seems like one of those games where it's full of cheap shots that you have to memorize in order to beat.
