Because he is faking faking it. He does an awesome impression yet people feel the need to call out fake, so he is just toying with them.


Right, okay, I understand the video. But, my question is, why is this so amazing to videosifters? Where is the huge internet story where people are calling him out and saying he's faking? And how would he fake it anyway? I don't see how people would get it in their head that it's fake since nothing he says appears in any of Ian's films or anything. Skimming comments, I don't really see anyone saying "OOH THIS IS SO FAKE" in his videos.

@ForgedReality: There's a guy here that was convinced it was fake, and this is VS where people are a little more credulous than Youtube at large. I'm sure the tube is full of people screaming "Hey, everyone, this guy's a great big PHONY."

^hahaha! Okay. I dunno. I'd only ever heard of this guy because of this sift, so I guess in that way it served its purpose for me, but at the same time, that's the reason for my "wtf" at this being at the top of the sifts. I would have thought that one of his other videos would have been.
