WOW, looks more like a subliminal battery ad for Energizer hoping to go viral.

What I got out of this was Duracell=Bad, Energizer=Good.

Someone needs to test this for me. I couldn't find any dead batteries around the house. Let me know if you do the test.

My bullshit detector is also going off.

Just tested on 6 AA batteries, 3 good 3 bad. Several tests (including one round of single blind). Bullshit anecdotally confirmed.

Having said that, the 3 good batteries were Duracell, and they seemed to fall over more often. It looks like they've got a slightly more rounded base, but only very slightly (if at all). Anyone feeling cynical?

Alkaline batteries are not solid inside.
They're like a liquidy gel sort of thing when at full power.
As they discharge the inside gets rigid.

Just tried it with a spent energizer and a spent duracell, and the duracell was more stable even though they were both spent.

Tried it with sunbeam AAA's, one spent, one fully charged, no difference.

Just tried it with a car battery I found. Now I need new tile.

That means your bullshit detector's battery is almost dead.
