Edensays...Huh, I was about to have you up for spelling Theremin wrong (I always thought it was Theramin) 'til I saw the very end of the video.
Oh, swell post btw.
antsays...Um, wow.
aaronfrsays...absolutely amazing!!! btw, what is that blue "sampling" box that they are using? I know it's something that radiohead uses to alter and sample thom yorke's voice during concerts, but I have no idea what it's called.
aaronfrsays...actually, now that i think about it, that's not the same thing because what radiohead uses has a touchscreen on it. question still stands though.
codenazisays...the blue box with pads that they are using to play the drums?
It looks like an Akai MPC1000,
karaidlsays...That guy must get so many women. Chicks dig theremins.
viewer_999says...My mind is blown; I don't even know what to say. That's just freaking awesome.
bigbikemansays...wow. wow.wow.
Ivegotthebendssays...That thing looks like it has to put off radiation. What a bizarre instrument. I can't believe it can be played so precisely.
bellmansays...Holy. Crap.
loorissays...this is good, though a bit annoying after a while.
i appreciate in particular both the ending, and the still image in the middle of the video to be used as clever preview
loorissays...i'd add tag "ether and aether" but it won't fit
DarkSaviorsays...that's so strange......I don't know what in the world he is doing. I don't understand.
K0MMIEsays...I want a theremin, but they are like 300 dollars
k8_fansays...Radiation, but only of radio waves - the type that are constantly washing through you all day, every day.
pyrexsays...Man I love theremins. Something about their interface just makes me think "damn, that's pretty friggin' intuitive". I know that if I'm listening to a piece of music I really love I start to make conductor-like hand gestures in the air. These devices just add real sound to 'em!
Can't believe it can played so precisely? I'd think it has atom-level control of precision ;-P
Nebosukesays...I played a theremin (that same Moog theremin acutally) in a band concert once. They're hard to learn. It's so odd playing something that you don't touch. From my experience, if you play a string instrument, that's the best thing to know before playing theremin.
Funky stuff.
spoco2says...That is the best playing of one I've ever seen, wonderful
deathcowsays...OK that should sell some theramin (is an s required?) sell some theramins, like vitamins? It's more fancy without the 's'..
endersays...This is incredible!!! Thanks for post.
gorgonheapsays...crap wrong button. meant to upvote And with that talent why did he have to pick such a shitty song.
messengersays...That other dude plays a mean carpet
