Not to be nit-picky or anything, but whenever anyone talks about the $600 or so per family as being insignificant they're probably not considering the multiplier effect.

Not that I agree this is necessarily the best economic policy, targeting infrastructure and/or finding ways to funnel the pending to be unemployed or downsized home builders like Clinton is proposing certainly seems more practical.

Multiplier effect does not work when most people would use the money to pay off their bills or save it.
