Engineer gets his jones on -- builds town in basement

A bit slow going but some of the details of how he engineered a whole town in a small space is pretty interesting.

'A bit slow going'? How short is your attention span?

That sort of recreating a space is something that's always fascinated me. I would have gone far more on the cobblestone look like the original museum piece, and stayed away from the faux wood panelling on the walls of the general store.

Having said that it's an amazing piece of work, just amazing.

I agree street surface (And perhaps other surfaces) seem like the weak point. Also something clever could probably be done with the ceiling to make it more like a faux sky.

Also, those fishing rods looked suspiciously modern.

But this is nitpicking. It's awesome

It is a huge distraction. Cheap surfaces are innately modern. REAL surfaces == old times. This desperately needs cobblestones and NOT trailer paneling.
