It would be awesome if the game started and you suddenly get a screen that said something like "we are sorry, but we've actually had to delay the game after the release because of a last minute bug that renders the game unfinishable, the game should be playable again in a week, thank you."

Then it would say, "just fucking with ya" and continue the game.

I want the first thing in the game to be duke to aggravatingly exclaim "FINALLY..."

Hmm...I'm moving from "meh" to "cautiously optimistic". The jokes still have a bit of a forced feeling to it.
But I have to admit - I laughed out loud when the voice at the end said "Rated M for Mature".

Wow. Didn't notice that the first time.

Now that I'm thinking about it... I had way more fun playing 1vs1 deathmatch in the original Duke Nukem than I've had in most games with multiplayer to this day.
