KrazyKat42says...I remember hearing this for the first time and feeling the same way.
mxxconsays...How can people get to that age and not hear every single top 100 song of all time?
RFlaggsays...Yeah, I'm a little lost on h ow he could be as old as he is and not have heard the song several times... could be a culture thing too, but either way, I'd have thought he heard the song many times, perhaps just never really sat down an actually listened to it.

Ashenkasesays...I have heard this song dozens and dozens of times... I still get the chills from the first 16 bars.
spawnflaggersays...I probably wouldn't have heard it as early as I did had it not been for the Wayne's World movie.
ChaosEnginesays...Just goes to show that greatness knows no cultural boundaries.
I understand that it's theoretically possible to not like Bohemian Rhapsody, but I can't understand why you would want to live your life in such a joyless fashion. That song is just so much fun.
Still, it'd be interesting to get a similar aged white dude to listen to a hip hop classic ("Nuthin' but a g thang" maybe?) and see if there's a comparable reaction.
Timsays...The film struggles with pacing issues that cause the first act of the film to move to fast. Not to mention a couple of inaccuracies that's is sure to bug queen fans like it did to me. Other than that the film is really fun and quite touching in other parts especially the live aid scene which was by far the best part. Queens music is fantastic as always but rami malek as Freddie mercury is insanely amazing. Halfway through the movie I forgot I was even watching rami but instead Freddie that's how good he was. The supporting cast is great as well every member of the band feels authentic and realistic. Overall I had an amazing and fun time with bohemian rhapsody despite its flaws. Remember this is a biopic and creative liberties were taken meaning it's not a documentary.
