This actually reminded me of something goofy from work.

My company releases service packs for our software roughly monthly. On the quarters, we release a 'major' service pack (SP1, SP2, etc). On the following month we release an 'A' release (SP1a, SP2a, etc) and on the third month, we make a 'B' release.

My tech lead was joking that from now on the 'A' release is to be referred to as the "Canadian Service Pack".
