SpaceOddityOne of the smoothest time-lapse compilations I've seen.
I really want to visit China now, too.
deathcowI wonder how this is done... obviously not (always) with a motor driven track given the distance of the camera travels.
TheSluiceGateYou can move 2 short pieces of dolly track along one after the other. Once it's left piece one and is on piece 2 you have ages to move piece 1 and put it in front again.

deathcowThanks again : ) Please follow me and answer all my questions ; )

@SpaceOddity if you visit Beijing, look me up, I'll buy you dinner.
UsesProzacIt's Passion Pit! This song is Swimming in the Flood. I enjoyed the video immensely because of this.
Here's a link to the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4oB00TCb7Y
You may have heard Passion Pit before in ad campaigns, their song Sleepyhead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0RvPYRRRbE
Also The Reeling, a great song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U-Ul5qnLeQ
There, hope you enjoy Passion Pit as much as I do!

FletchNot exactly the same, but I've been to Hong Kong a couple times (Navy, pre-1997), and it's one of the most amazing, wonderful cities I've ever been to. The views of the city at night, the markets in Kowloon. I could just wander around happily for days. A friend from work went a few years ago and told of a similar experience. I'd love to visit China someday, but I wonder just how difficult it is do that. I guess I can just Google it.
chingaleraYeah I Imagine Hong Kong a special place..one for the bucket list for throwin' down dollars on....plenty of stories from folks I've known, mostly old geezers with stories of trips there and back again under different circumstances w/spouses in-tow-
