BBC interview the wrong Guy

This is surely going to be one of the classic tv moments of our time. The BBC accidentally interviews completely the wrong guy live on tv...and he goes along with it!

I know this was posted way back in the day, but it's been dead for far too long and really needs to be back on the sift.

yep. she's clearly very confused. oh god, that look on his face is priceless!

I would have loved to see the revelation and realization that he was not who she said he was. Was this mistake ever publicized or admitted by the BBC?

I'm not sure what the BBC officially said about it. wikipedia has a few more details about the incident.

The real guy kewney weighed in on this controversy on his blog. What a humorless gasbag.

The Beeb got a much better segment out of it with the sweet Guy Goma.
