Ars Technica confronted children with 1980s technology

"I think this one needs water"
"I actually think this is better than CVS"

"Ow, awful sound"

"I would give this from 1 to 10, a 10"

"Why is it flashing?" "Why would anyone want to make this? It was really good back then"
"It's just so flat; I don't know how you're supposed to enjoy this..."

"I have better things to do with my time, like play outside..."

How those games, toys & gadgets of the 70's-90's genuinely made us happy THEN & even NOW after all these years. Kids today that are all-in on the social-media train end up addicted but SAD. That's just not on the same level of fun as those old stuff.

Do TRS-80 games next and watch these kids boggle in amazement that anyone found those games fun.

"Temple of Apshai" was effing AMAZING for its time, not to mention the fantastic depths of writing characterized by the Infocom games.
