Apparently a model who was a dress size 0-2 was deemed to have legs that were 'too fat' for the catwalk. WTF.

"Ali speaks up"
After making waves earlier this year for a Wall Street Journal article detailing her early departure from the Paris shows — she was only cast in one show because "her legs were too plump" — Ali Michael appeared on The Today Show this morning to detail her experiences as a model. She started out at 5'9", 130 pounds as a 15 year old, dwindling at the behest of her agencies to become 102 pounds. When she was in Paris last year, she was sitting among a group of four girls: "I mentioned I hadn't had a period in over a year and one by one, and each one of them said, 'Me too.' These were girls in their late teens, early 20s. There was no reason for that."
For more Ali quotes, to see Amy Astley blame the designers for the "hyperthin" girls, and to see Today's Ann Curry flub her information on Nina Garcia's status, watch the clip (Ali's interview starts at 2:22)

antUgh, I don't like thin/bony women. I don't find them attractive. Add some meat, but don't be fat.
EndAllThat girl is so cute! I admire what she's doing now.. although she has a lot on her plate (hopefully) with tackling this issue.
