Enzobluesays...Djokovic had 57 winners, 69 unforced errors. Nadal had 44 winners against 71 unforced errors. That's just insane.
budzossays...Fucking suits.
EMPIREsays...That is so fucking disrespectful... those 2 guys played a tennis match at the highest competetive level, for almost 6 hours, and those morons make them stand there.
ridesallyridencsays...I mean, on one hand, they were obviously zonked and needed rest. On the other hand, if the match had gone on for six more minutes, they would have actually kept playing. So asking them to endure a couple speeches isn't /that/ disrespectful.

This comment made me literally lol at the stupidity of it.
antsays...*downunder
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Downunder) - requested by ant.
gharksays...Yep, those poor bastards, a little ceremony at the end of a grand slam - sure, but use some common sense, Djokovic collapsed after one lengthy rally, and his legs were buckling under him on other points, and while Nadal hid it better I'm sure he was exhausted as well. They should have called in some hot Swedish masseuses imho.
luxury_piesays...The ending is brilliant.
"We know mates, have a seat then."
yellowcsays...I dunno if you honestly believe that or have just never played a sport to exhaustion or if you even watched the game. It was an amazing feat of endurance, kept at a very high level till the last point.
In the game, you push yourself to the extreme, the activity and the focus is keeping you distracted from the pain, not to mention your body pumping the crap out of various chemicals to keep it tolerable.
Once you cool down, that all ends and everything hits you. Every muscle in their body must have essentially given up. So asking them to stand for another 6 minutes in cool down is outright cruel, let alone disrespectful.

DarkenRahljokingly says...I think it's completely understandable that they are required to listen to the Corporate Sponsor go on and on. After all, the players owe everything to them.
Deanosays...Can't believe those chairs weren't there at the beginning but glad some Tournament guy wised up and bought on some chairs. Really, lying down and getting hydrated again is not a bad idea. None of us can appreciate how hard that was for them physically.
It's a little funny to see them enduring that extra torture though...

I kinda agree with this statement despite the sarcasm. The hater in me believes they're overpaid twats and I don't care if they suffer.

Nadal is definitely not a twat, that guy deserves nothing but respect, Djokovic has his moments though.
