Ryjkyjsays...I know there's a lot of debate about art critics and collectors spouting a bunch of crap about how she's a "master of color", and "oh, her intrinsic soulfulness belies her juxtaposition with grade school and man's inherent perspicacity"... it's all crap.
One thing's for sure though. Those paintings are really beautiful.
Fusionautsays...Something tells me that she will alway be working in a pink tutu.
ForgedRealitysays...Okay.. It's a baby. Babies know nothing about anything, let alone art. It's not "abstract paintings," it's "normal, everyday baby scribbles." Meh.
Jesus christ. Look how it ruined that house!
siftbotsays...Moving this video to geo321's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
Fusionautsays...*quality
siftbotsays...Boosting this quality contribution up in the Hot Listing - declared quality by Fusionaut.
legacy0100says...All this training will eventually make her a good artist for sure. However, what she's doing right now isn't anything special I don't think... Still pretty though.
bamdrewsays...The work of abstract painting 'prodigies' says a lot more about our shared human aesthetics than the 'skill' of the children.
... I feel like some art critics only experience art vicariously, and forget that they can have fun creating crazy art themselves, to either be framed or tossed in the dumpster.
bamdrewsays...Also, children are basically adults who are crazy and have no inhibitions... so it makes sense that they would make some interesting abstract art.
I say give this little girl a block of marble and a hammer and chisel!
bobknight33says...Thats not an talented / inspired work of art. Its a kid who is given a room to freely trash with paint and give an large art-board to paint on.
Heck my daughter does that on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. If I gave her own room that she could trash with paint and give her a large art-board to paint on she could do the same.

Well, you should give her a room to play with and see what she can come up with. I mean, this girl is being praised as a prodigy for god sakes, just because she's given the right environment.
bobknight33says...Very good point.
I do not have an extra room for her to become a prodigy. I would need some OBAMA Stimulus money for an add on. If I can have my daughter use a shovel to paint with would she qualify for one one of those shovel ready jobs? Would I need to get an environmental impact study done? Probably not.
Oh well, I guess my litter girl will have to settle in being average.
