ABC news anchor asks a rather inappropriate question

Not the best choice of words for live TV.

So them:
talking about orgasms
showing labeled diagrams
poking around 3D models of a vag
having a gyno say " one little stick and that's it" on cam
and hearing her say G-spot at least 20 times iiisn't awkward at all..

But when the guy says penis..? yeah. totally weird huh o_O?

Not to mention the fact they have a weekly
here's-some-new-fucked-up-plastic-surgery-you-might-want-to-ruin-your-body-with-slash-waste-money-on
segment..

uu-uh-uuu-uuh >_<

it wasn't the word "penis" that was awkward. it was the usage, and the imagery that it generated that the lady reading the story was trying to avoid despite constantly using the term "G-shot".

I thought the comment was perfectly appropriate given the conversation...

what was inappropriate was why a local news organization is doing a "story" in the format akin to late-night infomercials. This fluff-piece likely had promos too - I'd like to see those commercials trying to get people to tune in...

This sort of crap 'infomercial' shit has no place in a 'news' broadcast... One perhaps thinks he has had it up to here with that sort of shit and was just letting them know what the story they were so happily talking about was... about women wanting to like dick more.

WKBsays...

The story might have been inappropriate, but if the story is OK then the question is also OK. It's not like he said, "So, she love the cock like a good girl should," or something. That is how the general puritan strain in many of us reacts to this simple observation about a medical modification of sexual biology. If it were a story about a new solution to lactose intolerance would the question, "So, she likes milk more," be as inappropriate?

The other day, for some reason I was watching local news, and they gave a starbucks plug on the actual broadcast. It reminded me of one of the many reasons I avoid local news.
