The new see-through airplane of the future

Aren't the new F-35 jets going to have 360 degree vision for the pilots with cameras projecting the outside world onto the visor? It's not very hard to imagine really, a couple of camera's feeding a few dozen lcd screens on the roof of the plane. Could probably do it cheap enough with current technology.

I would pay extra for it

Finally American politics is catching up with the rest of the world! I really enjoy the shouting matches in Australian parliament, at least you get to see the character of your elected decision makers.

Something is a bit fishy here, its been a long time since computer gear stopped using through-hole components (the big chips and capacitors). Maybe I'm paranoid but this would be much easier to CG than to actually wait 5 years with what appears to be a really old circuit board.

I can't say a sentence without mentioning your name, Brian. I'm trying to connect with you by using your name, Brian. But I'm kind of overdoing it so it turns out to be a bit weird, Brian. Kind of OCD or something, Brian. You don't agree, Brian? Well, you're a twat,.. Brian.
Is he parodying someone famous who "namedrops" ,or whatever you would call it, a lot?

I think to fully get this sketch you'd need to have watched these 2 guys for years, Brian. You see the deadpan satire used here Brian, really works best when reinforced multiple times with multiple viewings and slightly different scenarios. Also you might have to be an Aussie to get it, I have several members of my family that could interchange with these guys.

Hurricane Rita hit west Louisiana around 9/24/05. This press conference (in New Orleans) is happening prior to Rita making landfall - when the storm's exact course was in flux.

That's the context I was lacking from this, thanks for posting the time line. This guy sounds like a movie character, one of the good guys

At its heart this is bad, but this is one case where I support the big corporation. If every single bit of content on the internet was controlled by the rule of law we wouldn't have a quarter of the stuff we have on videosift. People in glass houses etc.

I'm not american but I would LOVE the sense of satisfaction of trying the pricks who did 9/11 in the great city of New York. Thats a big FU right there to their cause and would show the world that america sticks to its moral high ground.

I don't understand why people say science requires faith, it completely discourages faith! Science needs proof, and even then it isn't convinced
>> ^bobknight33:
Science can not prove the creation of the universe/man but you would rather believe this theory but not the Bible. Both are taken on faith. One takes the supposition that a meteor with some type of bacteria traveled through the radiated universe hit the earth and managed to live through the impact and evolved into what we see all around us today.
The other is believing that some great all knowing power made everything is 7 days.
Both take a boatload of faith.
One thing is for sure is that we all have had or know of some event that is not of this world. We all heard of some event like the sister living 3000 miles away and felt the presence of her just died sister in the room before she was told of the event. We all know that something IS out there, we just cant see it.
