This song always reminds me of the end of Napoleon Dynamite. Napoleon's girlfriend plays tetherball with him as the credits begin to roll with this song is playing. It's actually a very nice scene.

I read this book in 1996 and fell in love with it. In 97' I got out of the military and was working at a psych hospital in northern AZ. Me and my wife decided to drive to Vegas. When we got onto the freeway I noticed this paper sign with "Fear and Loathing" printed on it. It had an arrow pointing in the direction we were driving. We got onto the highway and kept passing up these fake cacti. I told my wife "those look like the artwork from the book!" We passed up the production crew at one point. It was just strange being a huge fan of HST and driving right threw all of this scene on my own way to Vegas.

It's so ignorant that it is almost unbelievable. This guy is actually in politics and is exploring a presidential campaign. He is dumb enough to let some stupid family secret/joke linger around long enough for anyone outside his inner circle to find out about. Then again, your last name could be Weiner and you would not imagine that this person, a politician, would send pics of his wiener to young women. Then try to deny it.

One of my favorite vacations I've ever been on was a trip with my wife to Kauai. We rented a jeep and used directions that we got off of the geocaching site to travel to the location where they shot the original film. It was a fairly long drive through some thick forest/jungle, over several streams, and finally stopping at the remnants of the "Park's" entrance. The site is absolutely gorgeous! A short walk from the gate takes you to an overlook where you can observe several waterfalls that cascade down into the caldera and we got to find one of the best geocaches ever!

Dumb question, but it's a LOST reference right? "LOLZ!.....she's advanced to some future language!" had me cracking up. Thanks for cluing me onto the "hold on to your butts!" reference; I had no idea what that was all about until I watched a video about cochlear implants and then a video from Jurassic Park that included said "butts" reference.

I have twin cousins that are both deaf. This is a wonderful video.

This tears my heart out. I was no monster, but I did my share of ignorant bullying in high school. I'm in my 30's now and I have contacted every one of them via peer networks and apologized for my ignorance; however, I learned that one girl that me and some friends picked on has killed herself after she caught her husband cheating on her. In a strange twist of fate, the woman I've been married to for 17 years now is a good friend with this girl's sister and her parents. I was able to apologize to her parents. They assured me that I had nothing to do with her suicide, but I don't care. I certainly didn't help her situation. I live with guilt every day of my life, and I am so sorry for being so wrong back then. I became a psychiatric tech in the 90's and I work with people who suffer from depression and other psychiatric disorders everyday when I go to work. I hope to help heal as many people as possible after causing those few people so much hurt.

This video would be fantastic without michael moore's arrogant, narcissistic, snorting laughter. He is an embarrassment to America. I loathe him!

There is a full version of this video out there that gives more insight into what is going on in this video. The gun was loaded but not chambered and you get the see the other guy who sets up the robbery. In the full video, the other guy admits that they both planned on robbing her because they are broke. neither man had any drugs. Both guys are arrested for very serious charges.

I thought that this might be something you would see if Jackson Pollock and Andy Warhol got together for a Visual Art project.

So, was that a Scientologist dumping manure at the feet of those protesters? It seems to me that if that one guy had not stepped back then he would have had his teeth (or probably worse) knocked out. The person driving the front-end loader seemed to be driving very aggressively....I've worked construction before and if someone drove that HUGE piece of equipment up on me like that on purpose, I'd be kicking his ass. I would not be laughing if I was there. They should have called the police and showed them that video.

He would be in his nineties now if he was still with us. Richard Feynman was a great man.

I love this because it seems they did this anti protest exactly right. WBC's agenda is to incite anger and to draw out the worst in people. It's so easy to go out there and just want to punch Shirley Phelps-Roper right in the mouth, but then they win. Going out there and starting a festive dance party around them was just classic. My favorite signs were "God hates Jay Leno (team Conan ftw!)" and "Vampires suck!"

I have a 3 y/o daughter and she gets upset like this if I just point at her or stick out my tongue. It's funny what will upset them at this age and what will not. One night when I was tucking her in, she starts talking about werewolves. I of course starting to tell her that werewolves are not real, and she actually got pissed at me. She says "DADDY! werewolves ARE real!" So I said "tonight you dream about unicorns, rainbows, and purple werewolves." She says "thank you daddy.....goodnite!" Now every night when I tuck her in, I have to include talking about "purple werewolves" or she gets upset. =)
