It is fake and no balloons were harmed, it was actually pretty plausible in my mind up until that point.

I can't defend aggressive police that should know the laws clearly so they can uphold them properly. It's hard to picture having that level of surefire arrogance with such a sorry lack of knowledge about basic rights.

But that doesn't mean that returning the harassment, which we do regularly see in videos on here, is a good way to address the underlying issue and effect change. It's hard to have any effective teachable moment in an exchange like this and I'd say impossible to touch on the actual endemic issue behind it.
I would never claim to know how where to start with such a large scale problem, but I would hazard that it would be possible to expend the same energy in ways that might contribute.

I feel like I've seen videos on here of this same guy before, or someone incredibly similar who goes around filming buildings of police type organizations.

He's always well within his rights and well versed in them, but I do feel he's doing it specifically to cause trouble and film it. I applaud his interest in civil liberties, but I'm not sure doing this advances the overall cause or awareness much.

You would think the noise from the prop and engine would be irritating, but maybe the curiosity and fun (or predator) factor of a chase outweigh that. Never thought about the bubbles before though.

Small world, I watched the whole video and then realized I met this fellow a few years ago, he was at BlackBerry way back at the start and now can have fun like this all day, lucky guy!

The bathtub is such a perfect no traction surface, the one cat almost looked like it skated to the end before managing to get out.

Agree one or two looked like they were just for fun, but I had one of these a few years ago to keep them from pawing at the bedroom door and it was handy.

I counted maybe 14 cars that went past the crossing, plus the 2 engines, that could be 800' it took it to stop. If he had applied the emergency brakes he still wouldn't have been able to stop in time and probably would have caused damaged to either the wheels, track or both. He was going relatively slowly (it was a populated area with crossings) to stop that quickly with 10k ton behind..

I wonder if they have training and stats on how everyone in their right mind would be long gone from a vehicle that's been stuck any length of time.
