Sly thought it was a good idea, he wrote and directed the movie - he just wanted to get all the old 80s and 90s actions heroes together for a movie.

Does anyone know where this is taken from, and if I can buy it on DVD?

I always liked Shooting Stars, I hope they bring that back.

He did a lot of voices for old Lucas Arts games, he did at least 4 of the characters in Full Throttle - not that you'd notice, they all sound completely different.

The added music ruins it for me ;/

I was actually there watching that live, it was great. Me and my friend had got in really early and had gone straight to the front to sit down, although it turns out we weren't supposed to be there, and ended up getting surrounded by id Software staff. It was great though, Robert Duffy et al kept turning around and explaining some of the various tool features to us. Quakecon has a great atmosphere, I'd really recommend going.

@qruel the Doom3 engine could handle large outdoor areas just fine.

I seem to remember this game had in-game adverts for Ghost in the Shell.

If Mamoru Oshii isn't directing it'll be nothing like the animated films. Ghost in the Shell is one of my all time favorite movies, and I would say it's arguably one of the greatest films of all time.

This scene never scared me as a kid, I loved this movie. What did scare me was the entirety of Return to Oz

I hated this show, mainly because they just lump everything together - like 18 seasons worth of The Simpsons and Akira. You wouldn't put Seinfeld and Bladerunner in the same list.

Tom and Jerry deserves it's place though, it's the best cartoon ever.

If any other cats came remotely close to our house, my cat (may she rest in piece ;' ) used to sit on the windowsill and 'talk' at them menacingly - they'd just stare back looking scared and confused.

It's the zooming in on the character's face that makes this for me.

In all fairness to him, they'd been following him and telling him he was a bad person since he first arrived in the country. Tommy Davis is a nutcase, rose his voice first, it was only so long till John Sweeney cracked.
