Pardon me. What's obscene is the fact that Schene has been on paid administrative leave since December, and will continue to be so at least until the Sheriff's Office internal investigation is completed. The internal investigation is expected to be completed before his trial in King County Superior Court, due to begin Sept 9. This guy gets paid for sitting on his ass for 10 months after the assault. Now that is obscene. That and george11's comment.

I've read that comment 5 times now and can't think of anything to contradict its conclusions. It would definitely simplify things, but it means a very big change in how VideoSift works. At the very least, how often you can submit a video would have to change.

It would also require an incredible act of humility. Dag, Lucky, and Campioni would have to be willing to abandon a tremendous amount of code that took who knows how many hours to build.

Looks pretty interesting.
