How does raising the vote threshold help achieve that? Just because there are more people voting doesn't mean everyone's perception of quality is weaker. The quality of a video is not inversely proportional to the number of users. Quality is objective in the sense that a video considered quality when there were 200 users is still quality when there are 2000. Unless you believe the opinions of those extra 1800 users are inferior to the first 200. But if that's the case, just don't let anyone else join.

Woot! Did it have anything to do with forcing visibility? I read something about a workaround for a Flashblock bug that mentioned that.

The FlashBlock issue has been resolved and once the files on the live server have been updated you should no longer experience any problems

@fford: I removed the confirmation, since you're right, it's annoying and not really necessary since recommended videos should be a fleeting thing anyway. Good point about dead/discarded/killed videos. From now on anytime a video becomes one of those, it will be removed from all recommended listings.

It's still asking me for confirmation and I still see killed and dead videos in the list.
