To scare away annoying yuppie that's hitting on you, act like a drunken freak
I like these commercials because they speak the truth:
When you're a drunk, no one wants to talk to you.
The Prodigy - Smack My B**ch Up (NSFW)
Beer is bad, m'kay?
It seems so surealistic in its realistic (and animalistic) plot of vulgarity and aggression. The book "Choke" comes to mind (good read).
Celebrity-Endorsed Public Service Announcement
That was saptacular!
Although the baby joke was a little stupid; (almost) the whole thing is just hilarious.
The Passion: "Can't Get Enough!"
Which? The mindless anti-semitism what many think result from misunderstandings in historical events, my joking comment, or this video's possible, but satirical, view of anti-semitism in Mel's movie?
Olbermann spanks O'Reilly
"O'Reilly gets a fact backwards and"
Only one? And liberals believe in appeasement of enemies?
It's not even that O'Reilly got this fact wrong, I haven't liked him for a very long time (only a little time after I learned of him) and I have more than just this instance to dislike him for. And we liberals don't appease enemies - although trying to make friends is often thought of that way. But if you look in a history book, republicans aren't the only ones who start wars.
As your your other quotes . . .
When politicians talk about taxes: if they're going up, the poor pay more and the rich are less effected. If we're talking about lowering taxes we mostly just lower it for the rich. I won't dispute your quote until you explain that to me - how only the rich deserve lower taxes if the rich get them. And about winning and losing: neither I or any of my liberal friends are against mutual victory. My republican friends, however, have told me just that quote.
Colbert Does Wikipedia
Wow, the truthiness article ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truthiness ) IS larger than the Lutheran one ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lutheran ).
Suggestion: view new comments since last login. (Sift Talk Post)
Maybe what they could do is have like a "save" button. When that button is pressed, posting time becomes in relation to the time the button was pressed. And then the videos you've commented on (which I'm ussuming would be in a one-dimensional array) could be run through a for loop, putting up every video that has a time above zero.
Or Dag could just put that thing he said to general use and we could all write down the time we were last on and check every video.
Benny Benassi Satisfaction Video
Why do I suddenly have a craving for BK now?
PlayAnywhere Interactive Projector
One problem. Many of us computer geeks are known for excesively cluttered desk . . . Oh who am I kidding? I'm drooling over this. I'd throw my desk out for a chance to play with this thing.
Music video with 8 treadmills: OK Go - Here It Goes Again
That is a really neat idea.
Michael Moore v. Fred Phelps (Krazy Anti-Gay Khristian Kult)(1999)
Yeah, Micheal Moore might have substituted serious debate for comedy (he is a dark humored, cynical comedian after all), but that doesn't mean we should dismiss his message. And as the phrase goes "if you talk sense to a fool, he calls you foolish." We all seem to agree that this church group is crazy, can we all agree that they could not be argued with as it would prove nothing for either side?
Although, I wonder if acting flamboyantly gay is a good way to remove stereotypes and minimize hate. But of course, Moore was trying to be a jester, not a messenger.
Olbermann spanks O'Reilly
Yeah, news in general is screwed in America, that's why I'm really hoping http://www.iwtnews.com/home works. They have republicans AND democrats, so even if they spew bias, they spew it from both ends of the political body. (And if you were disturbed by that analogy, sorry.)
Mashup of President Bush's Guantanamo Bay (Gitmo) policy which has been far different than his rhetoric.
Thank you.
The Hollow Men: The Courtroom
And then replaced by . . . Stella . . . oh the humanity!
Iran and Mel Gibson, What Do They Have In Common?
I'm going to vote for this because I think it's good to know what and where biggotry exists . . . plus I'm Jewish.
