Last Resort Active Shooter Survival Measures by Alon Stivi
I know you said it sarcastically, but the National Counterterrorism Center's own report calls it "open source reporting", so good luck on finding a real answer. However, it also says that "most were victims of attacks in Iraq".
Do those 800 students killed by 'terrorists' in 2007 include those that the US bombed in Afghanistan and Pakistan or Israel shot, shelled, or bombed in Gaza? Because there's nothing like some self-defense training to help you prepare for fire raining down from above.

I don't see any discuss invokes in that thread, but trust your judgment. Feel free to do what you feel best.
Video shows crash-landing of Russian airliner
"Please do not post pornography or "snuff" films (which we define as the explicit depiction of loss of human life displayed for entertainment).
Note: The presence of human fatality is acceptable and not considered "snuff" if presented as a limited portion of a lengthy educational, informative news report or documentary. Our definition of "snuff" does include but is not exclusive to any short clip in which a human fatality occurs whether or not any victims are actually visible on camera."
No one died in this video (though there were fatalities during this accident). This video has been played during several news broadcasts and linked to several online print news articles like http://www.theage.com.au/world/bad-brakes-cited-in-moscow-crash-landing-20121230-2c140.html, and think qualifies as educational over entertainment.
ooops.....copied the "discard" with the asterix
Shopping cart shot out of escalator
Where did I ever say it was going to sit in one place? Only you said that. Why quote me if you're not even going to read the first sentence of what you quoted?
No, if you let go of a cart on the "up" escalator it's going to fall down the SAME escalator (the up escalator), not the one NEXT TO IT (the down escalator).
I'll be more blunt:
It's obvious (well, to anyone that has moved beyond video game physics) that the YT description that was pasted here was wrong. The shopping cart person wasn't pushing the cart "to upper floor", it was being pushed from the upper floor.
You have this cartoonish idea of physics I guess. Try to push a shopping cart onto an escalator, and see if it just sits in one place, slowly turning over... and over... and over.. until someone comes to get it.
No, it's going to rocket down the fucking escalator, bouncing off the steps and the sides, until it goes flying off the bottom killing a small village.
Shopping cart shot out of escalator
Yes, which is why it should have fallen down the "up" escalator. Please feel free to continue to fixate on gravity though...
Gravity doesn't apply on the "up" escalator?
Shopping cart shot out of escalator
Sure, but if a customer was trying to push it to the upper floor, they would have been using the "up" side of the escalator, not the "down" side of the escalator...
Gravity?
Shopping cart shot out of escalator
Um, so why did t fly out the "down" side of the escalator?

"*promote1,2 - float a post at the top of the corresponding listing; renew queue time for queued/discarded videos"
1 may be performed by any member on their own post
2 requires 1 Power Point to use
Not sure why you're bringing up note 3, since it doesn't appear to apply, and note 1 doesn't say anything close to what you say it does.
If you look at my (limited) sift history, you can see that I USED to be able to promote my own posts... oh well.
It only costs one power point for a gold star member to promote someone else's vid. Note 3 in Star powers points out that it costs 2 power points to promote your own vid, and note 1 says that any member may promote their own vid if they have said two power points.
I think that embed may be region blocked too, I'll check tonight.

That's really weird, since I have one power point, and the FAQ says that costs one power point... Oh well...

Sneaky pedestrian
I love it when people go and do rude/illegal things while in a company vehicle that has all their contact info plastered on the side.
