Chris Matthews Confronts Idiot Calling Obama "Communist"

Biden Slams Romney, Ryan For "47 Percent" Video
You think conservatism isn't a religion? What is it, then?
>> ^deedub81:
What does conservatism have to do with faith?
Biden To Ryan: "Oh, now you're Jack Kennedy?"
>> ^vaire2ube:
did ryan just admit a democrat did what he wants to do...
That's a standard part of modern Republican political strategy -- all former Democratic politicians are awesome (and conservative), it's just Obama/Pelosi/Reid who've taken some sort of radical shift to the left that's outside the norm of American Politics.
Which would seem like a reasonable assessment of reality, if you lived on Bullshit Mountain.
Biden Slams Romney, Ryan For "47 Percent" Video
You forgot this possibility:
C) Anything that doesn't come from within the cult of conservatism is branded "liberal" by the cultists, so whenever they leave the compound and walk out into the real world, they feel like there's some sort of massive conspiracy to make them question their faith...
>> ^deedub81:
Question: The reason why there are WAY more liberal biased videos on videosift is.....
A) ...that there are simply more liberals than conservatives in the US.
B) ...that Romney was right about the 47% and they spend fewer hours actually working and contributing to society, therefore, they're online more often.

Obama: Romney Severely Conservative to Severely Kidding
I'm really starting to think Obama has a secret twin brother.
One is President Obama. He's highly intelligent and capable, but he's boring. He's stiff. He's nerdy. He's professorial. He's understanding of divergent views almost to a fault.
The other is Campaign Obama. He's just as smart and capable, but he's also loose, confident, funny, and interesting. He's a skilled communicator, and can be extremely persuasive. He fights for his principles, without demonizing his opponents. He's inspirational, and he's charming. He's who won the election in 2008...and then went into hiding.
President Obama was who showed up to the first debate. Campaign Obama better fucking show up at the second, or he'll just be Mister Obama next year.

A good place to go for all things tax & budgetary is the Tax Policy Center, a non-partisan think tank that specializes in all things tax & budgetary.
For actual legislation that's making its way through congress, you wanna check the Congressional Budget Office.
You don't really need to read a book, but you do need to be willing to read some rather dry material.
The big problem with Romney has been that he hasn't given enough specifics to really even do a real analysis. Though even if you try to do the work of transforming his generalities into specifics for him, it seems essentially impossible for him to keep all his promises unless you assume some sort of unprecedented economic boom will happen.

Just ONCE I want to see someone break this shit down by the numbers. Seriously can it be that hard? Do I have to go buy a book to do it. Hell 99% of America doesn't read books that do that.

What if the government was your worst enemy
This is a really weird juxtaposition -- Andrew Napolitano engaging in one of his usual right-wing fearmongering rants about the evils of "government", played over protesters getting the shit beaten out of them for protesting...spending cuts to government programs.
This is the kind of video blankfist would post, and then leave me a personal comment saying something about how this video demonstrates that all of my political beliefs are wrong, when all it really demonstrates is the level of cognitive dissonance inherent in the entire conservative worldview.
If you let the concept of cutting government budgets get conflated with the idea of protecting your rights as an individual, then your perceptions have become so skewed you're no longer able to make rational sense out of the world you live in.
But then, I guess modern conservatives don't really believe in individual rights anymore. Not really.
See Why This Boob, I Mean, Girl is Voting for Romney...
What's funny is, this is how pretty much every Republican voter/supporter sounds to me.
Basically it's just one big long litany of reasons that are either superficial/prejudicial, or based on some outrage over something Obama's supposedly done, but actually hasn't.
The supposedly more intelligent conservatives just say it with more gravitas, and less tits.

PBS probably does agree, but knows it won't help their case to weigh in on this, or their brand long-run if they allow their biggest icon to become a football for partisan politics.
