doesn't look like speed was a factor, appears like nervousness in the new rider that made them panic and target fixate toward the guardrail.. if they had just relaxed and counter steered left they would have been fine. needs more training!

so many questions... why is there water? did a pipe burst? why is this fan on? is this outside or inside? I see siding on the wall.

ok watching that compilation video answered some of my questions.. wow this is fucking horrible.

I think it's because vehicles are designed to crush in the direction of travel to absorb shock.. and this is not the intended direction of travel:) (landed pretty flat)

Also, the truck shouldn't be following a hundredth of a second behind the truck in front and when it was obvious the silver car was going to do the lane change there was ample time to take the foot off the gas, this was a 50/50 at fault if we're honest.

then what happened? Is this not an odd place to cut the video? is it like Cyberpunk where you get 20 feet away and they forget you were ever there? I'd think if they were willing to chase you the wrong way down the highway, they might also want to chase you the other way too?

It's not the VFX that bore you, it's the design of the shots/action. You would feel the same way if the same busy, over-designed novelty shot was done with traditional special fx techniques. Just making the distinction because people often blame vfx for stuff that is really a design/filmmaker issue.

The thing that blows my mind here is that it's not actually being 'pulled' down, the well in space-time from the mass of the earth is distorting things in a way that, because the time is bending, even though it's sitting still on the counter, it's like the counter is accelerating upward pulling the bread down into the counter much like your head gets pulled back when gunning a stroked small block. Just WOW...
