^I just finished closely reading your idea Max, and it does sound better than mine. It is certainly more elegant. One thing I'd like to see is if a user is being ignored by certain members that it shows who is doing the ignoring. No anonymous accusers for me, please. Still it sounds like a good idea.

I think we should still have some sort of justice system in place - other than what we have now: Siftquisition - for more egregious violations, though I know defining what constitutes an "egregious" violation would be tricky. Hopefully they would be infrequent at best.

Maybe rules need to be defined better too, including the penalties for breaking them.

Regardless of the differences in opinion here I think most will admit that the current system needs to be improved. I hope the admins give our ideas serious thought and devise something new.
