America's War - World War II in colour
The attitude that results in a documentary about the Second World War being named 'America's War' is responsible for 99.9% of anti-American sentiment in the world.
Like, seriously. 23 million Soviets (14% of the population) died; Britain endured rationing until 1954, ; Japan got 2 nuclear bombs dropped on its cities; Germany was flattened to rubble. The USA lost a paltry 0.4 million soldiers (0.32% population) and virtually no civilians, didn't have any rationing at all, and never suffered any mainland attacks, but it's called "America's War". Am I the only person here that thinks that's disgustingly inappropriate?
