oh wow. another remake. i am so excited. how can we ever be satisfied with the crappy original attempt at any film ever...(day of the dead, dawn of the dead, invasion of the body snatchers (4 remakes),chainsaw massacre, omen, halloween to name but a few). remake citizen kane next and 2001 , and why stop there. theres a billion films we can shaft over the alter of no imagination. i really wish hollywood would start thinking about new ideas and stop remaking (or to use their language 'reimagining' [shudders in disgust])and have an original idea or at least have enough integrity to attempt to make the film not cash in on the reputation of another (call it something else for a start). light weight, plageristic, no talent, cynical money grabbing feckwits AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!. I was in London the other day, i ran into a protest of the British government bailout (much the same as the US bailout in most respects). I saw some representatives of 'The Socialist Worker' on the crowd and it wasn't lost on me the irony of socialists demonstrating against a socialst policy from an ex socialist party.
