ok i'm ready to install linux now
was able to post a msnbc video
here's the steps
1. open the embed code.
2. take the first url buried in the awful microsoft proprietary javascript + html
3. open that url in firefox
4. select the video control, right click firefox and select "view selection source"
5. use this code as a template... i found it @

6. after the &launch= theres a number in the template you need to replace.
7. should work now, don't click the verify button.

lol. Sorry marinara. I wasn't exactly sure of what your post was asking. I've never tried Linux yet, even though I've always wanted to. Then again maybe I'm doubly off topic...Is this post about Linux?
No, but if he can fix an MSNBC embed to work on the sift, installing Linux should be a breeze.
Actually, installing linux IS a breeze either way, but if you've never reformatted a hard drive or installed windows from scratch before, it can be scary, I guess. Setting up a dual-boot scheme can be a bit trickier, but it's not impossible, but can be easier if you're using two different hard disks.
In all honesty, installing most versions of Linux is more painless than installing almost any version of Windows . . .
