Meh, I don't mind that much. I think I only ever used it once or twice. I use promote more than anything...

A pity. And now that 15 votes are needed to sift I doubt I'll be getting near Diamond Ruby for a few years

I was even more disappointed when I found my tag editing privileges were revoked - I worked so hard to get my old gold star just for that purpose.


Editing/adding tags isn't something that is particularly subject to abuse - shouldn't 50 points be enough?

Just chiming in here to say that I completely agree. There is so much great work you guys did with this upgrade so I hate to bitch about stuff, but some of these changes are pretty severe and weren't even discussed with the community beforehand. Little disappointed in that. Stingray and several others here really go out of their way to nail dupes and consistently maintain the site and I haven't seen any problem with letting 100 star members continue to do just that.

I didn't realize it went the wrong way. It was a lot of complicated work trying to adjust the details of every single invocation when we adjusted the star levels.

I brought it back down so it's available to Gold Stars and up.
