With all these (new) ways of getting money from its members I'm wondering why all this money is needed. I mean the Sift doesn't seem very bandwidth intensive seeing as all the material is hosted elsewhere and the page isn't cluttered with images. Maybe lucky is being paid for his programming work, which would be fine.
I'm willing to donate some money but I would like to know why it is needed. Basically I would like to see a balance sheet.
