Wat Hapend to mi spealcheeker?
I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be a spellcheck in effect recently.
Is there a setting somewhere that I changed accidently?
What gives?

If you go into prefs you can turn that back on. I think dag turned it off by default because it was adding too much load on the servers. You can also enable the thesaurus which is a pretty nifty tool, as well.
I can't seem to find where in prefs.

Yeah, it's not there for me either. Probably turned off.
I'm sure it takes a lot of capacity--which cost money.
I can live with out it (although a thesarus would be amazing, astonishing, astounding, awesome, awful, eye-opening, fabulous, miraculous, portentous, prodigious, staggering, stunning, stupendous, sublime, surprising, wonderful, and wondrous).
Lib, The spell check feature may be part of your browser and not the site. Weren't you having pc issues recently? Maybe the option was reset or disabled when you were under the hood fixin yer problem.
Nah, it's there, keep looking.
@blankfist is just trolling for suckers. Spell-checking is built into all modern browsers. Usually, you just need to right-click the field you're typing into and tick the "Check Spelling" option from the context menu.
Thanks, @critical_d and @lucky760 I've got it now.
@blankfist was trolling for suckers and he got me (pfft--easy prey).
It wasn't because of this was it?
