As far as I know, comments are generally not deleted on VS, even spammer, troll or spammer-troll comments.

Shouldn't their spam/troll/whatever posts be deleted if reported?

We don't automatically remove all comments of someone who is instabanned- but I have removed this one, thanks.

Maybe we should leave the comment voting (up, down, spam) open after a user has been banned? Then the comments could be weeded out automatically with the report spam button or something?

How about we vote and hide negative votes like on Digg?

Unrelated - but I'd like the option of being able to downvote comments that have got 15 upvotes.
