I thought that was really sweet too when I read about it, but for me at least every single game plays incredibly slow. Which sucks, seeing as NES rocks.
I might just have such a shitty computer.
Hope it works better for everyone else.
Awesome. That's really cool!

That's odd; I seem to have the opposite problem. I just loaded up Super Mario Brothers and everything seemed to be going twice as fast as it should be.
But MY FireNES runs juuuuuuuuuust right!
Never had any problems with it. Although I've always been curious if this has any sort of controller support. It's just not the same hitting keys with my index and middle and not my thumbs.
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
I run a Nintendo64 emulator on my Mac that is actually pretty good. Works really well for games like DiddyKong Racing and SuperMarioWorld. It's the emergency games sytem if the kids' DSs aren't charged.

That's why I have an original NES and N64 sitting right next to my Xbox 360. I can always kick it old school.
If anyone is having any difficulty trying to figure out how to open it, click on tools, then at the bottom, you'll see FireNES. If you want to see the controls, click on tools>Add Ons> then FireNES options.
Yay! Nostalgia! =)
