I'm not having any problem via Firefox with myspace videos. Try jiggling your monitor connections and then furiously turn your computer on and off. If that doesn't work you should buy a arc welder and start adding random metallic objects to the motherboard.

Myspace's vid server seems to be slow right now. You're probably just seeing the picture of the mini-player, right? That's a placeholder image while the rest of it loads in. Be patient, grasshopper, and the world of myspace videos will come... eventually.

It's possible the the 1s and 0s have become clogged. Completely unplug your computer (including network cord) and tap one corner while its being held over a trashcan... you should see the little bits fall down. I don't suggest breathing in binary dust, you might catch a computer virus.

When I tried to click on a MySpace video from a Google Search, I got a message informing me of a technical glitch on MySpace and that it had been reported.

I've run into that message before on the site - not specifically having to do with the video area, but just MySpace glitches in general.

Like I said, this started about two weeks ago. It happens here or when I try to view a video on MySpace. The video window looks normal, I press play, but nothing ever happens. I can move the volume slider and I can press pause, but after I press pause I can not press the play button again.

I got this with myspace today, and with other sites (Veoh?) in the past. I see the videoplayer pinging an ad network like doubleclick, but it's blocked by my hosts file so it sits there waiting, not playing the video.

I think I have suffered from this problem, I think it's casued by Ted Stevens.

seriiusly though, the doubleclick waiting problem, I have definately had that, one night last week YouTube videos stopped working...
