LittleBigPlanet delayed after Qur’an blunder
Media Molecule's platformer is delayed in all global territories; new release date yet to be announced

Sony has confirmed that its highly anticipated LittleBigPlanet has been pushed back to an unspecified date, following the discovery of Qur’an expressions in the soundtrack.

The game was due to be released on October 24th in Europe and October 21st in North America, and is tipped to be the PlayStation 3’s biggest Christmas release, having received rave reviews from the specialist press.

A statement from Sony read:

"During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused."

Honestly, who gives a flying fuck? Those very few people who notice and care about these expressions need to get the sticks out of their collective arses.

For shit's sake, both Sony and the producers know people will create 'really' inappropriate user content from the get-go. You'll probably be seeing Stalin sodomizing Maggie Thatcher in the Fuehrerbunker within the first week.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Mohammed. No not just a man named Mohammed, he is the actual prophet who wrote the qu'ran. He hates you, your children and your childrens children. He also dislikes the use of the words "little big", because it should just be "Normalsizedplanet".

fyi, Muhammad as a historical figure was a murderer and pillager, raped women, and had over a dozen wives including a 6 year old girl (Aisha bint abi Bakr in 623 AD), was a hypocrite and didn't follow any of the rules he laid upon others of the Islamic faith.

This will backfire, considering the vast amounts of freedom the user has to create just about whatever he/she wants. Expect to see vast amounts of visual backlash & abuse hurled towards that king of hypocrites and pedophile of a warlord they call "Prophet".

Afterall, Islam is a religion of peace, and if you say that it isn't, we will kill you. See what I did there?
