Is this kosher?
I've just submitted a set of multi-part videos, each of which references a playlist that I made on YouTube. The playlists themselves are from my YT account, but the videos in them are not. The idea is to provide consolidated links so that people can see all three parts of each video on VS without going to YT for parts 2 and 3. If this counts as a "self link", I'll change them so part 1 appears here, with parts 2 & 3 listed as YouTube links in the description. What do you think?

I would say it is ok. As long as you aren't YT acct "Fedidovisk"... (hint: just say you are not)
I don't think the making a playlist of other YT videos is a big deal.
me neither....the feature allowed here already makes it easy to link related vids.....What about the kosher of posting a vid here, that has an embed from a you tube play list, that contains, seemingly unrelated viddies, per user discretion???
...like a subject montage
the playlists are fine and as long as you are not linking to your videos you are in good shape.
Your Playlist = OK
Your Playlist with your videos = Not OK

I agree. There are no rules against this.

Choggie, WRT your question - I as long as the videos themselves don't violate our self-post rules, I think you are in the clear.
Thanks, folks. Bonus slack for all of you!
And, oh yeah, I am not Fedidovisk.
good to know, I just found some vids I would like to put together...
