Is this a great place or what?
As I have begun to post videos I've found myself starting to contribute and vote on those entries that, when I'm dead and gone (all things being equal), my progeny can come here and learn about what captivated my interests.
I just looked down through my current queue and here is what I found:

Beavis, Butthead and Cher - I've Got You Babe
Japanese Maglev - 581km/hour
Treasure! Jim Henson and Kermit on "What's My Line?"
Alice Cooper Meets Soupy Sales
I thought, "Man! Is this a great place, or what?!!"
Then, after pondering said list, it struck me that I need to leave something in the will stipulating an account for continued life therapy for my children and for any future generations who might be affected.

bnsaThis is a great place. I've been here since the early days and what makes it special are the people... those who are still here, those who are new, and those who are long gone. Everyone has contributed to something here at VS.
winkler1Wonder how long the linked vids will last...seems like most things digital are essentially ephemeral. Most sites/pages suffer bitrot over time. Wikipedia might be an exception. Will these vids be up in 50 years? At the same URL?
